As excitement continues to build for the 2023 World Baseball Classic, MLB Network will exclusively announce the rosters of the 20 entrants this Thursday, February 9, starting at 6 pm ET, during a special two-hour program.
The 2023 edition of the World Baseball Classic will begin on March 8 and conclude with the championship game on Tuesday, March 21 at loanDepot Park, the home of the Miami Marlins.
The tournament will have four groups of five teams in the first round, with a round-robin format. The best two teams from each bracket of the first round will advance to the second round, where there will be two groups. The best two from each quarterfinal bracket will advance to the semifinals.
