An away match that smacks of unity, stubbornness and a great desire to get involved, the one that saw the young athletes of Apd Judo Trani as protagonists.
A bus full of smiles, enthusiasm and a lot of energy plowed the streets in the direction of “III Trophy City of Civitanova Marche – III Memorial Prenna” – Sunday 5 February 2023.
The team led by maestro Nicola Loprieno, together with his technicians Leonardo Occhionorelli and Michele Napolitano, declares themselves satisfied with the results obtained, not only during the competition, but also in the preparation and strength shown off the tatami, with a night alarm that set put a strain on the little ones, but which did not inhibit passion and determination in any way.
A school that confirms itself as a ferry of values that make sport the fulcrum of life, which recognizes the potential for human growth in athletes, which believes in the importance of healthy intentions, which distances itself from the educational void caused by the blue screen, building, primarily, inner strength and physical health.
Judo Trani managed to bring forth the following results: Capriati Samuela 1st – Occhionorelli Domenico 2nd – Lattanzio Giulia 3rd – Piscicelli Andrea 3rd – Porcelli Emanuele 3rd – Dibari Dorian 5th – Curci Sofia 1st – D’Antino Roberta 1st – Occhionorelli Antonio 1st – Iacca Andrea 3rd – Gabriele Gravina 3rd – Diaconu Anastasia 2nd – Occhionorelli Paolo 2nd – Merafina Carlo 2nd – Chimenti Marco 2nd – Lamantea Danilo 3rd – Sgueglia Gabriele 3rd. Everyone, in their own category, demonstrated the best of themselves, supported by an immeasurable motivational team work.
Maestro Nicola Loprieno also thanks the parents who, with great involvement, support this path of sport and life.
Obviously, the Trani judo race doesn’t end here. Today, Saturday 11 February, in fact, the mats of the PalaFijlkam in Ostia will host other athletes in the Italian Under 20 Freestyle Wrestling and Women’s Wrestling Championship.
There are many sporting events on the calendar, and a lot of passion that guides and will guide young and old in this intense sporting year. The journey is always and only just beginning.
