The Dane Vingegaard, crowned on the Champs-Elysées last July on the Tour de France, will participate from Thursday February 23 in the Tour of Galicia in Spain to launch a season where he will aim for a second victory on the Grande Boucle. Vingegaard will continue with a big meeting, at the beginning of March, on Paris-Nice: his first duel against Tadej Pogacar, the Slovenian prodigy twice winner of the Tour de France (2020, 2021) who is having a breathtaking start to the season, with two victories in the semi-classic of Jaen and on the Tour of Andalusia, and who decided to skip the Strade-Bianche to arrive in top form on the Race to the Sun (March 5-12).
