This Tuesday (28), Noel Le Graet announced his resignation as President of the French Football Federation, amid accusations of sexual harassment. With that, he will not complete his fourth term, which would end in 2024.

Since 2011 at the highest position in French football, Noel has accumulated good results and controversy in his tenure. In addition to winning the 2018 World Cup, he was in the runner-up campaign in the 2022 edition and also in second place at Euro 2016.

However, recent criticisms of Zidade and the results of an internal audit conducted by the Executive and by the Ministry of Sport made the representative lose strength.

With his departure from office, a cycle of 12 years at the French Football Federation, with Noel Le Graet at the helm, ends. Since January 11, the Frenchman was removed from office.
