Basketball: NBA All Star Game, McClung is the king of dunks – Basketball

(ANSA) – ROME, FEBRUARY 19 – The absolute protagonist of the second evening of the All-Star Weekend is Mac McClung, a player who has just landed for the Philadelphia 76ers – after months in the G League – awarded as the best NBA spiker at the end of a match in which he lined up four iron plays, one more spectacular than the other. Damian Lillard won the Three-Point Contest for the first time in his career at the weekend of the NBA All-Star Game. The Blazers talent, who took the field wearing the Weber State jersey – the college that decided to bet on Damian Lillard, in Ogden, Utah – took the final victory in the three-point shooting challenge, beating in the final head-to-head Buddy Hield and Tyrese Haliburton.

Born in 1999, 1.88 tall Mac McClung has acquired a certain popularity on YouTube for the videos of his dunks in high school (Gate City High School, where he surpassed the record for points -1.153 scored on the scoresheet – set in a single season by Allen Iverson recorded at the time of Bethel HS), now the former G-League rookie of the year has become a celebrity in the NBA.
