With 15 minutes to go before the end of the match, the Colombian forward finished off from the door of the area. The goalkeeper could not contain the ball: it slipped out between her legs and ended up in the back of the net. It was the goal that sealed the fate of the Albiceleste.
Javier Mascherano’s team needed a victory to advance to the final hexagonal in the South American Sub 20. Finally, they fell 1-0 and said goodbye to the competition in the group stage.
