During a traffic check in Stolpe on Monday afternoon, the police seized three baseball bats. The police discovered the objects in the car of a 21-year-old who was stopped and checked by the police. When asked, the driver stated that he intended to use the baseball bat as a weapon in the course of a possible altercation. To avert danger and prevent crime, the baseball bats were confiscated by the police. In addition, a violation of the Weapons Act is examined. The 21-year-old, who initially tried unsuccessfully to flee from the police, is already known for various crimes, including robbery and violation of the Narcotics Act.
