Pitcher Tyler Anderson won’t need to haul his bags far as he will transfer from one Los Angeles-based major league baseball team to another on Tuesday after agreeing to a three-year deal with the Angels.

The left-handed gunner will pocket $39 million in total, according to the major league baseball site. The Angels, however, have not confirmed anything at this time.

The left-handed gunner is coming off his best career campaign, going 15-5 in 30 games, including 28 starts. He set several career highs, including his innings on the mound of 178.2 and his ERA of 2.57. Anderson also left 138 opponents in the dust in 2022.

These performances have also earned him, at 32, his first participation in the All-Star Game.

The Angels will however have to give up a second-round pick to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Anderson’s former team, since the latter had submitted a qualifying offer to him, which he rejected.
