National ice hockey player Leon Draisaitl has a successful anniversary in the NHL celebrated.

At 7: 1 (2: 0, 3: 1, 2: 1) of his Edmonton Oilers away against them San Jose Sharks hit Draisaitl once and set up two more hits. In 600 NHL games, Draisaitl has now scored 278 goals in the North American professional league and assisted 404 goals – more than any other German in the best ice hockey league in the world.

Congenial partner McDavid

Draisaitl’s congenial teammate Connor McDavid prepared the goal for the 27-year-old from Cologne on his 26th birthday and also scored two goals. With 82 points, the Canadian leads the NHL scorer list well ahead of Draisaitl.

McDavid has both scored and hung up the most goals. Most recently, in the 1995/96 season, the legendary trio of Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr and Ron Francis reached the mark of 80 goals in one season faster than McDavid.

After winning the divisional duel at the Sharks, the Oilers still hold the second wild card spot for the playoffs in the Western Conference. Die Sharks around Nico Sturm are in penultimate place of the Pacific Division.
