“Last year my body began to be much weaker, and the recovery was not the same, my cervicals atrophied a bit, I was already beginning to feel dizzy, dizzy and when you no longer begin to enjoy yourself as before, and you want the diving do it one way and they don’t come out anymore, so I preferred to retire than sport to retire me ”, he explained.

remembered that It was during a competition in Paris 2022 that he began to meditate on the decision to retire.

“I was already very sore, I already felt that the recovery was not as fast as at other times. It was in Paris that I decided to end my career and I was grateful for everything that this sport has left me, ”she said.

The Mexican commented that now will be dedicated to working with the new promisesbut ruled out being a coach:

“I am helping the new generations, I have a very trained clinical eye, not so much as a coach, but I am present in some boys’ training sessions, I am detailing programs with them, more or less as a methodologist, as a coach it is a great responsibility, not I close myself, but we are going to see the life that puts me in front of me ”, he concluded.
