The two Chilean reinforcements for the Under-20 team are already training in Xerém. More and more adapted to the Fluminense base, Nicolás Matamoros and Felipe Ogaz are evolving with each training session. The players promise dedication and are already feeling at home at the Vale das Laranjeiras Training Center.

With a history of being called up to Chile’s youth teams, Nicolás Matamoros was elected the highlight of the Xerém Under-20 Cup, held at the end of last year. Excited about the opportunity to defend Fluminense, the Chilean already feels part of the most complete training academy in Brazil.

“It’s a huge joy to be able to play in a talented team like ours and have the experience of representing Fluminense. Being a Moleque de Xerém is an opportunity for few, and we’re here to take advantage of it”, said the midfielder, who also plays for the wing.

With passages through the professional team of O’higgins-CHI and the Chilean youth team, midfielder Felipe Ogaz, 19 years old, praised Xerém’s work structure. The athlete was impressed with the quality of the kids and was excited to be able to help his teammates throughout the season.

“Very happy to be here at a great club like Fluminense. The teammates and day-to-day training are competitive, but little by little we are adapting. We have a very united and welcoming group”, said the defensive midfielder.
