After a one-game ban, Franz Wagner returned to the NBA with a loss. With the Orlando Magic, the national basketball player conceded a 115:123 (43:65) against the Memphis Grizzlies in the North American professional league.

The Magic went into the final period 14 points down. There Wagner tried to lead his team: he scored 19 of his 22 points in the last quarter. But Orlando couldn’t turn the game around and lost for the fourth time in the past five games.

Franz Wagner was suspended for a game after leaving his team’s bench area during a scuffle over his brother Moritz Wagner in the game against the Detroit Pistons. Moritz Wagner was suspended for two games after his hard foul on Detroit’s Killian Hayes and also missed Orlando against Memphis.

Defeat for Doncic and the “Mavs”

The Dallas Mavericks clearly lost against the Boston Celtics, currently the best team in the NBA, with 95:124 (46:64). That ended the Texans’ run of seven wins in a row. Luka Doncic scored 23 points and did not play in the fourth quarter because the game was already decided there. For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum was the best player on the floor with 29 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.

Finland international Lauri Markkanen led his Utah Jazz to a 131-114 (64-56) away win at the Houston Rockets with a career-best 49 points.
