A long smile appeared on the face of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard in front of the journalists, Tuesday, at the idea of playing a first meeting with the Montreal Canadiens in 2022-2023.
The one who amassed 25 points in 37 games with the Rocket this season, was in uniform for four games with the CH last year. After Rem Pitlick, also recalled urgently by the big club, Anthony Richard and Justin Barron, the Saguenéenne was impatiently awaiting his turn.

“When you see guys being called back, you’re happy for them, but you can’t wait for your turn to come,” he said. Things have been going well in Laval lately and I’m extremely happy to be here. my beginning [de saison] was more difficult. I was playing pretty well, but the points weren’t coming.

Harvey-Pinard was supposed to go to the dentist for an operation on Thursday, but he will have to postpone his appointment “for the right reasons”.
“It kind of fell through!” he said.
