Yuki Matsuzaki has joined the Yokohama B-Corsairs. Matsuzaki has a defense that makes the most of his “tough” body, and also has the ability to score with transitions and 3-point shots. And above all, his unwavering core strength is also a big attraction. This year, in his fourth year of college, Tokai University, which has undergone a major change in members, has steadily grown as captain, and at the intercollegiate (74th All Japan University Basketball Championship) held the other day, he splendidly led the team to victory. I could feel the real strength in his attitude of persevering and continuing to fight despite the lack of results. I expect that Yokohama B-Corsairs will grow further with that core strength and make great strides.
