The head of the Investigating Court number 4 of Majadahonda has rejected the request of Clean Hands to withdraw the passport of the president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales.
Through an order that he has just issued, he argues that “It is a notorious fact that he has moved to Qatar as president of the RFEF to attend the celebration of the Soccer World Cup that is being held in that country within the exercise of their duties”.
For this reason, it not only denies the aforementioned precautionary measure against Rubiales but also against the former FC Barcelona footballer Gerard Piquof which he maintains that Manos Limpias has only provided “suppositions”.
Majadahonda Investigating Court 4 is investigating the management of Rubiales at the helm of the RFEF after the publication of the millionaire commissions charged by Piqu for the transfer of the Spanish Super Cup to Saudi Arabia. It is also tracking other episodes such as the celebration of supposedly professional conferences in the Granada town of Salobrea which, according to Rubiales’ former chief of staff, were actually a party with a dozen girls and which was paid for with federal funds.
