‘Thinking Football Summit’ kicks off this Friday with FC Porto in the spotlight

The first edition of the Thinking Football Summit starts this Friday and is close to being sold out. Over the next three days, the Super Bock Arena, in Porto, will be the stage for an event on an international scale and Futebol Clube do Porto will be present in various dimensions.

Liga Portugal aims to host some of the best national and international players in the world of football. Thinking, promoting and growing will be the objectives of this event, which is expected to be a great success for Football.

The high point scheduled for this Friday is the closing ceremony, with the presence of Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa. The President of FC Porto will close the first day of Thinking Football by approaching, in depth, the 40 years of victories as President of FC Porto. The President of the Dragons is the most titled president in world football and made FC Porto a top club in Portuguese and European football. After 40 years, the Dragons won two Champions Leagues, two UEFA Europa Leagues/UEFA Cups, a European Super Cup, and were crowned world champions twice. In addition to international success, national success was added: 23 national championships in the Pinto da Costa region, more than three times the number of championships won by the club in the entire historical period that preceded it, since its foundation in 1893.

The first edition of the Thinking Football Summit will feature, over the three days, the presence of several personalities from the Futebol Clube do Porto universe: Lourenço Pinto, President of the General Assembly, Tiago Gouveia, Marketing Director of FC Porto, Eduardo Oliveira and Telmo Sousa, main team physical trainers, Nuno Menezes, from club licensing, Nuno Rocha, member of the FC Porto Legal Department, Paulo Fortunado, Dragon Tour Coordinator, Rui Correia, Team Manager of Team A, Teresa Santos, from the sustainability at FC Porto and Vítor Hugo Teixeira, the club’s nutritionist.

The FC Porto Museum, which won the prize for Best International Attraction at the 2022 Tiqets Remarkable Venue Awards, will also be present at the event with the exhibition of the official replica of the 1987 Intercontinental Cup, a VR Museum FC Porto experience and even offers and discounts for Tour FC Porto.
