AR RAYYAN – The Moroccan National Team (Timnas) was surprisingly able to get rid of Spain in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup. Interestingly, in celebrating their success in qualifying for the quarterfinals, the Moroccan National Team also unfurled the Palestinian flag.
The Morocco vs Spain match will take place at the Education City Stadium, Ar Rayyan, on Tuesday 6 December 2022 WIB. After a 0-0 draw until extra time, Morocco successfully won a place in the quarter-finals by winning 3-0 via a penalty shootout.
Of course, this victory means a lot to Morocco, who have successfully beaten a team as big as Spain. This is because this is the first time for the Atlas Lions to reach the quarter-finals at the World Cup.
Even so, Morocco does not only provide moments of happiness for Moroccans. Hakim Ziyech and his friends also dedicated the victory to the Palestinian people who continue to fight against Zionist Israel.
