Just before Christmas, the organizers of the Happy New Year Tournament learned that Gaëlle Desperrier, n°20 in the French ranking and seeded n°2 in the tournament, was finally renouncing her visit to Chartres.
If they considered replacing it for a time, they ultimately did not succeed and had to redesign the table. Adjustments which will in particular allow Théo Gravouil (n ° 30) to enter directly into the quarter-finals, and no longer in the eighth, as initially planned.

Another package was recorded at the start of the week, that of Pauline Courcoux (n ° 52, Angers), with the flu, who was to attack her tournament this Tuesday, in the round of 16, against a qualifier, the young Caledonian Carolann Delaunay (- 2/6, Auteuil public office).
