The Pehuén Awards were given, an award given to the best athletes of the year who represented Neuquén. The swimmer Iñaki Basiloff, was left with the gold award for the best of the season, where he became world champion in Portugall.
A ceremony where 30 disciplines that had their respective shortlists were distinguished. The culminating moment was when it was time to deliver the gold statuette, where the disabled swimmer Iñaki Basilof won the Pehuén de Plata in his modality, and later with the gold.
Neuquino had a brilliant year, where they stayed and became world champion in Portugal. He had great performances at the national and international level, consecrating himself world champion in Portugal in the 400-meter freestyle, in addition to winning silver and bronze medals.
Another important moment was when a tribute was paid to Marcos Acuña, world champion with the Argentine soccer team in Qatar 2022, 7 days ago, achieving the third star for Argentina. The “Egg” appeared on the screen leaving a greeting to all the athletes from Neuquén who were at the ceremony.
