Tacchi won the doubles and added

Chess: Pueyo and Pueyo champion

The chess player from Regatas Corrientes, Tomás Pueyo y Pueyo won the U17 category as a local. In total there were more than 40 players present in two categories.

Last week, in the conference room of the Club de Regatas Corrientes, the Children’s Meeting and Open Chess Tournament for the Sub13 and Sub17 categories took place, in which Pueyo y Pueyo from Corrientes managed to become champion.

The contest was organized by the Chess School of the T-shirt institution, in charge of the instructor Jorge Gómez Bailo, and brought together a total of 41 chess players from the capital of Corrientes, Riachuelo, San Luis del Palmar and Santa Ana.

In the U17 category, the players from Regatta were ranked 1st and 2nd. This is Tomás Pueyo y Pueyo, the young man who became champion with 4.5 points.

Behind him was occupying second place Nahiara Galeano, also from dribbles. The podium was completed by Iván Ibáñez.

As for the Sub13 category, the champion was Mileydi Lencina, representative of the Riachuelo Municipal School.
