Estudiantes is the third classified team from our city for the Federal basketball tournament, the contest that is in the third order of the discipline at the national level.
Specifically, Estudiantes beat Unión Vecinal 73-65 in the third decisive game of the Pre-Federal, at the Sports Center of the “Jorge Luis Hirschi” UNO Stadium.
In the red-and-white team, which returns to said tournament after a couple of years of absence, the top scorer of the match was Mateo García Barucco who contributed 19 goals.
On this occasion he will be accompanied by Atenas and Platense, who had already qualified. As for the tournament, it is not yet known when it will start, but it is presumed that it would be in January.
