Budějovice burned down in Vary

In the match against Karlovy Vary, České Budějovice wanted to follow up on Sunday’s victory over Liberec, but the first period did not go as expected. Redlich took care of the only goal in his own weakening and Energie took the lead.

It was even worse for Motor’s fans after the second period, when after Bernad and Koblasa’s goals, South Bohemia was already losing 0:3. The home team was unable to correct the result and remain in second last place in the table by a score ahead of Kladno.

Pilsen succeeded in Litvínov

The first third of the match against Pilsen did not go well at all for the hockey players of Litvín. Hrabík took care of the visitors’ first goal in his own weakening, the home team managed to react only 47 seconds later, when Jaks equalized in the continuing power play.

However, the next minutes already belonged to the Indians. Schleiss and Rekonen secured a 3:1 lead for Pilsen from the power play after the first period. Jaks returned the verve to the game in the 55th minute with his second goal of the evening, but Plzeň already maintained a narrow lead, Holešinský then secured the win for the visitors in the power play.

Boleslav rubbered out Hradec’s shooters

Until the 32nd minute of the match, the fans in Hradec Králové waited for the first goal of the match between home team Mountfield and Mlada Boleslaví. The Swedish striker in the service of Bruslař Aberg took care of it, so the visitors led 1:0 after two periods.

The home side couldn’t overcome the excellent catcher Novotný even in the third period, on the contrary, they conceded the second goal from Stránský’s stick during the final power play and fell 0:2.

The Komety battle with Olomouc was decided by raids

The fierce battle, in which the prim defensive players played, did not yield a goal in the first two thirds of the match between the home Kometa Brno and Olomouc. And the shooters did not succeed even in the third period. None of them could overcome home Furch or Lukáš.

Even a five-minute extra time didn’t change anything. The winner was decided by separate raids. Local Koblížek became the only successful scorer, so Kometa could enjoy two points for a 1:0 win.

Sparta decided with a goal in the penultimate minute

The duel between the two finalists of the last extra league year between Sparta and Třinec offered a fierce battle in which defenses dominated on both sides. Excellent catching home team Kovář and Kacetl from Pardubice kept the scorers at bay until the very end.

When it seemed that there would be no goal after sixty minutes, Horák decided on three points for the people of Prague 92 seconds before the end of the third period. The steel players were unable to respond to the hard blow, so after winning 1:0, Sparta claimed their fourth win in a row.
