The end of Cristiano Ronaldo’s career does not seem to match his talent. Heckled in the club this season (10 Premier League games, 1 goal), the striker even finished the 2022 World Cup on the bench with his national team (5 games, 1 goal, 3 starts).
Without a contract, the Portuguese must think about his future. Last summer, the Portuguese tried in vain to change club, to compete in the Champions League, and on social networks, a hashtag brought Cristiano Ronaldo closer to OM. In vain.

Winner of the 1993 Champions League with OM, Basile Boli, who has the role of ambassador for the Marseille club, was the guest on the set of NW Sport TV. The former defender of AJ Auxerre, the French team (45 caps) and AS Monaco spoke about the Cristiano Ronaldo case, and revealed that the Portuguese had indeed started discussions with the Marseille club, 4th in Ligue 1, probably last summer: “He was in talks with OM, I think he should have come to Marseille. But can the 37-year-old striker, now free, currently claim to sign for OM? Several times questioned on the question, Pablo Longoria, who chairs OM, has always denied that the Marseille club is interested in Cristiano Ronaldo. The Spaniard had notably pointed the finger “salary differences” who were never good in a locker room. The former Madrid and Mancunian, who earned nearly 27 million euros a year before his breach of contract with Manchester United, would have blown up the OM locker room, in addition to the club’s finances.
At present, only PSG seem able to attract the Portuguese, who are being courted in saudi arabia and in Qatar.
