NHL productivity is led by McDavid, Pastrňák is third among scorers

New York – Canadian hockey forward Connor McDavid from Edmonton still leads NHL productivity by ten points ahead of German teammate Leon Draisaitl. Sixth is the Czech gunner David Pastrňák from Boston, who loses 19 points to the leader McDavid. Among the scorers, Pastrňák is tied for 3rd place with 24 hits and lags behind leader McDavid by six hits.

McDavid, who is seeking his third straight Art Ross Trophy for Canada’s leading scorer and fifth overall in his career, has 66 points in 35 games and is four goals ahead of American Tag Thompson of Buffalo with 30 goals. Draisaitl has 21 goals and 35 assists.

Pastrňák scored 47 points in 33 games and is tied for third in scoring along with Vancouver’s Bo Horvat and Dallas’ Jason Robertson. Martin Nečas from Carolina, who collected 33 points (14+19) in 34 duels, ranks 41st in Canadian scoring. Fifty-year-old Tomáš Hertl from San Jose scored 32 points (11+21) in 33 duels.
