Juventus, Cherubini on Paratici: “I felt like throwing up”

Even Allegri against the former Juventus director: “Market only for capital gains, market for c…”

From the interceptions on the Prisma investigation concerning the Juventus several criticisms of the work of Fabio Paratici: against the ex black and white ds they hurl themselves Stephen Cherubini (his successor), Massimiliano Allegri and also the former goalkeeper Marco Storari. Cherubini, reports La Stampa, vents to the manager of the financial area Stefano Bertola: “In two years you (referring to Paratici, ed) threw everything away: 700 million put in by the shareholders. You put everything at risk. Why a day you decided to send away two people that it was probably right to keep”. And again with another manager: “We have been arrogant in the market. And with Cristiano Ronaldo our vicious circle was triggered, because we spent Pogba’s money (the sale to Manchester United, ed), to pay two clauses. Paratici in March spoke of making 300 million of those (capital gains, ed). I swear I was coming home and I felt like throwing up just thinking…”

Allegri, speaking to Cherubini, instead says: “You have to understand that last year’s transfer market was done only of capital gains, so it was a fucking market“. The current Juventus director replies: “Bravo! How did we get here? Senseless purchases, investments out of reach (Kulusevski, ed), excessive use of artificial capital gains. In recent years it’s also a bit our fault, Fabio (Paratici, ed) has drugged the market”.

Again, other managers on the Juventus transfer market: “If you look at the total of number that we gave to Chiellini between salaries and bonuses, it’s scary! There is no criterion in how we spent the money. It’s no surprise that in two years we’ve asked shareholders for 700 million”. Finally Storari, a former goalkeeper who had joined Paratici’s staff: “Now we have to fix the shit that he left.”
