The best judo returns to Córdoba. The Olympic Julia Figueroa, banner of Cordoba and national sports, was the protagonist in the celebration of the fourth edition of stage “City of Córdoba” judoin which more than fifty students from all over the province, Andalusian territory and even surroundings, gathered to live two days of practice and training.
From last Monday until Tuesday afternoon, in this way, the judoka gave master classes to a colorful cast of young people of all ages, levels and categories, trying to put their competitive experience at the service of the new generations. In these dynamics, in turn, some clubs such as Judo Athenas, Deportivo Tomoe, Judo Baransu, Judo Torremolinos, the Madridejos Body Training Club (Toledo), the Rodríguez Judo School, Judolin, Marilú Judo, Koryo Club (Lucena), the Andalusian Judo Federation itself, the Asahi club -Kan (Seville), the Padul Dojo and the Kodokan Club -organizer-, dividing his performance between the morning and evening sessions led by the medalist at the facilities of the Almedina College of Cordoba.
“It always likes to come home, that people come. Excited to have the opportunity to transmit what I have learned during so many years of competition, during my experience. If anything I can teach is useful to someone, I will certainly I will leave pleasantly satisfied. I will try to help as much as I can,” Figueroa herself said in statements to this newspaper during the start of the practices and workshops with the young athletes.
The methodology
