The XVII International Junior Basketball Tournament in Arroyo, has had the final it deserves, with emotion and healthy competitiveness between two great teams, Lucentum Alicante and Real Valladolid. The Valladolid won by a score of 81-64.
The La Vega sports center in Arroyo has been the scene of this tournament that has been organized by the La Flecha Basketball Club and which is already a classic on the Christmas sports calendar. It has been held on December 26, 27, 28 and 29 and in this edition, after the sanitary restrictions derived from the pandemic, it has once again had European representation.
8 junior category teams have participated in it. Eurocasvi (Madrid), Hustle (Paris), Real Valladolid, Lucentum Alicante, 2 teams from CB La Flecha, San Agustin and Estudiantes de Lugo
The President of CB La Flecha, José Antonio Cernuda, has taken the opportunity to wish a Merry Christmas and a 2023 full of success on and off the pitch. He has also expressed his gratitude to the Arroyo de la Encomienda City Council for “their constant support and collaboration in holding the tournament.”
