Four sneaky counters discovered within a few hundred meters in the municipality of San Martino Valle Caudina. Four of them were reported by the Carabinieri of the local station for theft of electricity.
During specific checks, carried out by the military together with the staff of the company providing the service, it was found that, by bypassing the meter or tampering with it, electricity was illegally arriving in the homes of the four. For them, therefore, no bill.
Once the investigations were completed, the four alleged perpetrators were referred in a state of freedom to the Prosecutor’s Office of Avellino for the crime of aggravated theft.
