Track 45th edition of the Dakar Rally promises challenging stages that will bring competitors to the hitherto unexplored parts of Saudi Arabia. The competition will start on December 31 on the shores of the Red Sea. After covering 8,549 kilometers, of which 4,706 will be measured, the finish line awaits the participants on January 15 in Dammam on the east coast of the country. The biggest challenge will be the so-called Empty Quarter, i.e. the Rub al-Khalí desert.
