Bariez is included in the symbolic selection of the season of the World Tour 3×3 basketball

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has also included Latvian basketball player Nauri Miezi in the four-man symbolic selection of the World Tour 3×3 basketball, FIBA reports on Tuesday.

Players are included in the symbolic sample based on their value coefficient. It is made up of shots, blocks, assists, last-second shots, fouls and half of the rebounds.

A player had to play at least 22 games or play half a season to earn a value ratio.

Together with Miezi, who accumulated the highest value coefficient (average 6.9 points per game), the symbolic selection also includes Thibaut Verfort from the Belgian team “Antwerp” (6.7 points), Serbian Strahina Stojacic, who plays for the Austrian team “Vienna” (6 .6 p.) and his brother, the most valuable player of the season in the estimation of basketball players and fans, Strahinja Stojacic, who plays for the Serbian unit “Ub” (6.4 p.).

FIBA emphasizes that Miezis, with the nickname Robins obtained from the comics, “was often the main superhero of the Riga players and had a big burden on his shoulders, as Karl Lasmans missed the first half of the season due to the start in the professional US league “Big3”.

When “Flight KLM”, as Lasmanis was called, returned to the field, Miez had more support and his actions on the field became even more awkward for the opponents, as the defense had to focus on covering the two leaders.

FIBA reminds that the 31-year-old basketball player played his best season, helping the Riga players win 27 games in a row, as well as becoming the most valuable player of the “Masters” tournament in Cebu and Riyadh.
