Alfred Dunhill Championship: Ockie Strydom and Jamieson en tête, Ravetto 10th

Heavy card of 73 and eight places lost for David Ravetto, Saturday during the third round of the Alfred Dunhill Championship. On the Leopard Creek course, the Frenchman paid dearly for his double bogey on hole 9, weighed down by two points lost on 16.

The Parisian still managed to limit the damage with his fifth then sixth birdies of the day, at 17 then at 18.

The rookie on the DP World Tour is now 10th in -9. The Racing Club de France player is six shots behind the leaders, local Ockie Strydom and Scotsman Scott Jamieson, respectively authors of cards of 63 (best score of the day) and 70.

The first two in the standings are two steps ahead of a trio made up of South Africans Dean Burmester (68) and Oliver Bekker (68), accompanied by Englishman Dale Whitnell (66).
