Video goes steep: Real Madrid star Antonio Rüdiger fools teammates – SOCCER CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

THAT was really nasty!

Antonio Rüdiger (29) took care of training before the final group game in the Champions League against Celtic Glasgow for short-term gasping among Real Madrid players and officials.

What happened?

After a hammer shot from the edge of the penalty area, the German international grabbed his right thigh in the left corner and hobbled across the pitch.

Was the defense star injured? The answer: No! Rüdiger had only allowed himself a joke and “pranked” his teammates vigorously. So he went straight from hobbling to a little dance and celebrated for the successful fooling of his teammates.

The video of the campaign quickly went viral and is already a real hit on the internet.

Despite faking his injury, Rüdiger still did not play against Celtic Glasgow on Wednesday night. Coach Carlo Ancelotti (63) rested the 29-year-old and left him on the bench. But even without the DFB star, things went well for the “royal”. A week after the 2: 3 damper at RB Leipzig, the reigning Champions League winner easily defeated the Scots 5: 1 (2: 0).

Luka Modric (6th minute) and Rodrygo (21st) with two penalty kicks as well as Marco Asensio (51st), Vinícius Júnior (61st) and Fede Valverde (71st) scored the goals for Real. Jota (84th) scored the consolation goal for the Scots. Modric was 37 years and 54 days old when he converted his penalty and is now the oldest penalty goalscorer in the history of the premier club.

Coach Ancelotti also set a record. The win against Celtic was his 103rd as a manager in the premier club – a mark unmatched by any other coach before him. The Italian had previously shared the lead with Sir Alex Ferguson, the 80-year-old had 102 victories in the Champions League.
