The aberrant images of a coach savagely beating his 14-year-old tennis player daughter in Serbia generated commotion in the world of sports after they have gone viral. The images went viral because the Serbian activist against child abuse, Igor Juric, decided to publish them on his social networks. After the scandalous video, the city prosecutor’s office issued a search and arrest warrant against the coach in the last few hours. Hours later the man of Chinese origin was arrested and taken to testify. And according to what the Serbian media indicated, the coach recognized the facts that are seen in the publication.
WL, as the local press calls it, appeared before the First General Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade and justified his aggression. The man said that his daughter had refused to continue with the day’s practice and that “in china it is normal” that minors receive blows when “jump” o “disregard” those in a higher position.
In another of the fragments that was leaked in the media, the coach would have justified himself by saying that “I just wanted to” for the girl to grab her racket to continue training on the court.

In his Twitter post he assured: “I can say that I am a bit shocked, this is one of the many terrible things we have seen. It is important to see how the institutions will react, because it is a foreign citizen”.
“We have the identities of both the victim and the abuser, we will file a criminal complaint! This happened in Belgrade on the Crvena Zvezda tennis courts.”he added.
Secondly, Juric collaborated with the investigation and provided details of what led the coach to savagely beat the minor. “The trainers who worked with her say that she is an exceptional child, and the reason for this violent behavior was allegedly that one of the trainers, who was working with her at the time, said that she was not trying hard enough and that she did not want to to move to do what was asked of him”.
