The Spanish team of the Billie Jean King Cup trained this Saturday in Glasgow on the stage of the Finals that will be played from November 8 to 13, at the Emirates Arena in the Scottish city, with the “point in favor” of having Paula Badosa.

“As for any other team, having a Top-10 player is a point in our favor because she is a player with a lot of experience, who has had a very good year and a half and who is very motivated by the competition,” said the captain. Anabel Medina on being able to count on Badosa for the qualifiers.

Spain will play this Wednesday and Thursday against Kazakhstan and Great Britain and from this Saturday they are already training, waiting for a Badosa that will arrive on Sunday. The rest of the members of the team that make up Nuria Párrizas, Cristina Bucsa, Aliona Bolsova and Rebeka Masárová were under the orders of Anabel Medina.

“With good feelings on the first day, a lot of contact with the ball to adapt to the court and let the days go by until we compete. What I like is to have all the players very prepared so that any of them can jump onto the court. Spain will open their participation in Group C on Wednesday, November 9 against Kazakhstan on Court 1 and the following day they will face the host team from the United Kingdom on Center Court. The first classified of the group will play the semifinals.
