The state of Aguascalientes continues to hold high-quality events nationwide and this weekend the traditional Calaveras Archery Tournament 2022, which will start its competitions from this Sunday November 6.
Taking place at the Ciudad Deportiva Olympic Gymnasium, this event includes the participation of 325 fencers from 23 states of the republic and two different countries.

The indoor tournament was born in 2013, so this year will be the ninth edition without interruptions and throughout this time it has become the best event of its kind in our country, since it is a key piece in the development of Mexican talent for future international competitions.
Although young athletes with good prospects compete in this discipline, it also highlights the participation of highly experienced shooters such as Alejandra Valencia, bronze medalist in Tokyo 2020, and Aida Román, from the capital, who won the silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. London 2012.

For his part, one of the foreign athletes who visits this event is the Danish Stephan Hansen, who will compete in the open compound bow modality. Likewise, our entity will seek to reap great achievements with a total of 31 athletes, 21 of them are men and 10 are women.
It is worth mentioning that this Saturday, November 5, the practice stage will begin, while the official activity of the contest begins on Sunday.
