For several decades, the badminton section of the Tricolores, has a place in the associative landscape of Inzinzac-Lochrist. This section, chaired by Sylvia Mouillour for 12 years, has a stable attendance of 46 members who meet twice a week to indulge their pleasure. “Each year, I have more and more women who join”, underlines the president who adds: “We are full this year”. A leisure section where everyone comes to exercise, talk, improve but above all to spend a friendly moment around badminton. “We participate in a few tournaments but out of competition, says Sylvia Mouillour. Each event is conducive to a convivial moment even off the field.
Slots for 14-17 year olds
Ideally, with the new sports structures planned in the town, the section would like to open up to teenagers aged 14 to 17: “It’s a request but we lack slots for the moment to open this branch, the new room will perhaps allow us to do so”. An interclub tournament and an end-of-year outing are planned.
