Héctor Díez, bronze in the World Figure Skating Championship

The skater Héctor Díaz has won the bronze medal in the Absolute World Championship of Roller Skating, which is held in Buenos Aires.

Díaz has successfully debuted at the age of 18 in the absolute category, at the highest level, achieving a third place, in a test dominated by the also Spanish Pau García, who has been crowned world champion for the second consecutive year.

García has added a total of 289.04 points with his short and long programs to receive an impressive ovation from the public present at the Pabellón América in Buenos Aires.

Héctor Díez was third with 242.09 points, while second place went to the Italian Alessandro Liberatore.

and Carla Escrich have hung the bronze medal, putting the icing on the cake of a spectacular World Cup.

Diez completes with this bronze a season in which he has been champion in the World Cup and in the European Championship.
