Gunung Kidul Boy “Total Control” Mandalika, Double winner…Veda makes foreign racers give up !!

Iwanbanaran.com – Cakk… Veda Ega Pratama looks dazzling in the final race of the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup (IATC) 2022. The racer supported by PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) won the second race of the sixth or final round of the season, which took place at Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok, Indonesia, on Sunday (13/11/2022). Veda’s teammate, Reykat Yusuf Fadillah, finished in fourth place. Aan Riswanto followed to finish in sixth place, Decksa Almer Alfarezel 17th, while Diandra Trihardika failed to finish due to a fall.

After the start, Veda lost several positions. He even got pushed up to sixth position. On the fifth lap, Veda climbed to second place, and finally managed to lead the race on the next lap. Veda competed closely with Malaysian racers to fight for first place, and began to open his distance from other racers. The last few laps, Veda managed to escape and finally finished in first place with an advantage of more than four seconds. Reykat followed to finish in fourth place, Aan sixth, Decksa 17th, while Diandra failed to finish due to a fall.

For Veda, this is his third win of the season. The first victory he got in the second race in the Thailand round. The other two were obtained in front of Indonesian racing fans this weekend. These two wins ensured that Veda could fulfill his target of closing the season in the top three. He is in third place in the standings with 141 points.
