Many athletes say that the interest and development in their sports is due to growing up where the parents themselves had been active at one level or another. That’s not how it is Karoline Klaabywho comes from Hviding – born at Esbjerg Hospital on 23 October 2004.

Growing up “by the book”

– I must have played a game of badminton once in a while with my mother, Bettina and dad, Adolf and little sister, Go and little brother, Gustav. But the big thing never happened with the adults. On the other hand, my sister also has a talent for badminton, so we have been able to use and support each other.
Growing up was completely “by the book” with daycare and daycare. The mother is a trained baker and works as a kitchen manager in Hviding Forsamlinghus, while the father is a contractor. Together they drive out to various events and events with Bettina’s Lé Crépes pancake van.

After-school stay at SINE

His schooling began at Vadehavsskolen.

– After three years at the Wittenberg school, I had the opportunity to take the 10th grade at the Sports after-school SINE in Løgumkloster, says Karoline, who had the opportunity to develop her skills here – both mental, technical, tactical, etc. – on the Badminton line.

THE DOCTOR showed the way

– When I was younger, I experienced badminton as a game where we learned many basic techniques, says Karoline to RYK IND RIBE and points out: – It was definitely THE GAME that made me retain my interest. Then, with time, a world opened up with a sea of aspects, where there were opportunities to improve one’s skills. Today, Karoline has several sparring partners (both in the country and abroad) and some fantastic trainers around her.

Roses to Ribe Badminton Club

At Ribe Badminton Club, Karoline has come across many great events over the years, which have strengthened the unity. That is why she was also happy when, in early spring, RBC was named Badminton Club of the Year in Denmark. Are there any really special things that you have thrown yourself into? – In relation to the coaching job, I myself have been the initiator of ´pigefjer´, where the goal is to get more girl players into the badminton world.
