Canadian Adam Svensson birdied twice on his last three holes to extricate himself from a particularly undecided ranking and win the RSM Classic, the first title of his career at 28. Franco-American Martin Trainer finished 54th in the last FedEx Cup event of 2022.
The RSM Classic has once again given birth to a first winner on the PGA Tour! The Canadian Adam Svensson is the eighth first tournament winner of the last eleven editions of the tournament traditionally played on the renowned St. Simons Island. Svensson recovered from his timid initial card of 73 with three rounds under 65, including a solid 62 on Saturdayto win at 28, after two titles on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2021.

A helping hand from fate at 16…
Still threatened by many contenders at the end of the day, the Canadian made the difference with two birdies on his last three holes, including a putt from outside the green at 16 and a last birdie at 17 to reach the score of -19 . “I continued to believe in myself, even though I had difficult yearswas moved Svensson. Theegala believed in it until the end
Sahith Theegala signs a new second place while waiting for his first title, alongside Brian Harman and English Callum Tarren. Fifth, the Irishman Seamus Power will spend the holidays leading the FedEx Cup after the last official tournament of 2022 on the PGA Tour.

Another hole in one for Wyndham Clark
Despite four cards under 70, the Englishman Justin Rose settles for 29th place. The Franco-American Martin Trainer conceded two double-bogeys on Sunday for a final day above par and a 54th place finish (-6). Wyndham Clark scored a hole in one at 17 to snatch a place in the top 10, almost a habit for him this season!
