expand one’s own skills; the necessary technical figures are above all the coaches and team classifiers and, thanks to the collaboration of the Municipal Administration and the Anna Molinaro Comprehensive Institute, the lessons in the presence of the course for Central Italy technicians will take place in the Manzoni gym, starting from Sunday 27 November.
The course is very demanding, involving 4 days in presence and 18 online modules, then an internship during the 2023 championships with a report and final exam. Aspiring Coaches from Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany will participate, being the only one activated in Central Italy, with four members who will operate in WiPlanet Baseball. Starting from louis olmedothe new Venezuelan coach who wants to explore the differences between Italian and Venezuelan youth baseball – in Venezuela the boys “live” on baseball and train with the hope of signing a contract in the US minor leagues.

Which will also be done by two new additions to the technical staff: a graduate in Sports Science, Leonardo Barzelloni from Bagnoregio and a former player from Latina, Ceccano and Capannelle, Constantine Russowho now lives in Porano.
While the duties of a coach are known, not everyone knows that in baseball the team classifiers play an important role: during the games, these compile a form (roster) where all the game actions are reported, with the smallest details . In this way it is possible “view” a game without having been present, and the data reported are included in the statistics, which are very important in baseball because at the end of the year they describe exactly the performance of the athletes, so much so that in professionals they are taken as parameters for contracts!
But their task is also very useful for coaches; in fact, by reading the roster it is possible to understand what type of actions the opponents will take by taking countermeasures and obtaining better results; for example, there are hitters who almost always hit from one side of the field and in these cases the opposing team moves the defenders towards that area, with a defined action “defensive shift”.
