In recent days, the Carabinieri of the Nizza Monferrato Station have identified and reported to the Judicial Authority 8 young men from Nice who had triggered the violent brawl that took place in the city center on the evening of 24 September last.
The complex investigations of the Arma soldiers made it possible to identify the participants in the clashes that took place at night in a busy street in the city center. The searches carried out against the alleged perpetrators of the brawl made it possible to recover numerous elements useful for the reconstruction of the whole affair, in particular a series of clothes worn by the suspects and a baseball bat brandished during the brawl.
Citizen concern
The events of that evening at the end of September had caused a stir and concern among the population, also in consideration of the numerous videos that portrayed the most agitated phases of the violent clash which, immediately becoming viral on social networks, had amplified the media echo of the episode. Thus arousing the apprehension of the local authorities, immediately reassured by the response of the soldiers of the Carabinieri station of Nizza Monferrato supported by those of the Company of Canelli who, in the days immediately following, had organized a series of “high impact” services, with the intent to prevent any possible escalation between the parties.
Naturally the investigation is underway and will have to acquire the elements suitable for overcoming the current presumption of not guilty of the suspects.
This investigative activity is part of a series of preventive and repressive services of the Carabinieri in the area, aimed at intercepting forms of hardship and containing any criminal drift especially in the younger sections of the population.
In this context, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Canelli notified the owners of two pubs in Nizza Monferrato of the warning decrees of the Quaestor, aimed at preventing the recurrence of episodes of violence in or near said premises.
