These Brianza archers won medals, in the senior category Maria Mostardini and Maria Giuseppina Varisco (both from Burarco) in the silver and bronze order; Emiliano Giuranno (Comp.Arcieri del Sole – Solaro) silver in the men’s sector. Furthermore, in the master category Simona Biella (Polisp.Bellusco-Tiro con l’arche) won the bronze.
Domination of Burarco in the clubs with the teams classified in first place both in the women’s sector (M.Mostardini, MGVarisco, E.Poschini) and in the men’s sector (C.Gabriele, E.Tucozzi, O.Poschini). These are the Lombard archers who finished on the first step of the podium: Alessandra Bigogno and Alessio Rudoni, senior category (Arc.Tre Torri company – Cardano al Campo); Matteo Colombo, junior (Airone – Turate); Fausta Rossini, master and Federico Ranzenigo, boys (Arcieri Bresciani); Renato Riboni master (City of Opera).
The race was very popular as unlike the Olympic bow, equipped with a viewfinder and other accessories, the barebow technique is much more instinctive and therefore there is no single solution for the athletes present on the shooting lines.
Archery: Solaro protagonist in Bedizzole
In Bedizzole, in the interregional competition organized by the Audax Archers of Brescia, ten medals were won by the Brianza athletes, five by those of the Compagnia Arcieri del Sole of Solaro. They are Alessio Mangerini (gold), Luca Alberti (silver) in the senior Olympic; Linda Peverelli (silver) students; Greta Jin Xuan Piao (silver) and Nicolò Inzoli (bronze) Cat.boys. Three by the archers of the Polisp.Besanese: Federico Bugatti (gold) junior; Letizia Muzzupappa (bronze) master; Matteo Villa (bronze) students. Giorgia Rota (Arc.Bosco delle Querce Seveso) with an excellent performance won in the junior and Simona Biella added to her palmares the first place in bare arch, master.
