Roger Federer – speculation about a role as a TV expert in the Wimbledon classic

Roger Federer has secured his place in the history books of the All England Club.

In 2003 and 2017, the Swiss won Wimbledon eight times, making him the record winner of the grass classic. At the end of September, the 41-year-old ended his unique career at the Laver Cup in London.

Federer emphasized that he wanted to stay connected to tennis. There is nothing concrete in this regard, but the rumor about the role as a TV expert could be an option.

That suggests a statement by Sue Barker. The former BBC Wimbledon presenter and 1976 French Open winner is currently touring with her biopic Calling The Shots and taking part in a question and answer session at Kingston upon Thames’ Rose Theater on October 16.

According to the “tennis365.com” portal with reference to the “Kingston Nub News”, Barker let it be known that Federer might give the Wimbledon expert in 2023.

A very attractive thought.

Federer appearance planned in Tokyo

leaked when Federer’s first public appearance after the Laver Cup can be expected.

Many in the scene assumed that the 20-time Grand Slam tournament winner would stop by at his home tournament in Basel. “I’ve tried to process everything that has happened lately. The celebration at home in Basel will have a very special meaning and is now too short for me after London,” said Federer, however.

An appointment on November 19 has been confirmed. Federer will attend his sponsor Uniqlo’s “LifeWear Day” at Tokyo’s Ariake Coliseum.
