Gütersloh (FK) – Early on Saturday morning (October 1, 12:10 a.m.) there was a baseball bat threat in front of a restaurant on Bockschatzweg. A 34-year-old man is said to have approached several people in front of the restaurant with a bat in his hand, according to witnesses. He also insulted a man. When he grabbed the baseball bat, both men hit their heads and suffered minor injuries.
To prevent further crimes, the 34-year-old ultimately spent the night in police custody. The baseball bat was seized.
