NFL: Commanders owner Daniel Snyder would have called the NFL a “mafia” according to ESPN

Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder has reportedly told relatives he has enough compromising information about other NFL owners and commissioner Roger Goodell to ‘blow up’ the league if he wants, reports the ESPN Network on Thursday.

Sources tell reporters Don Van Natta Jr, Seth Wickersham and Tisha Thompson that Snyder said, “They can’t f–k with me” when referring to his NFL counterparts . He also reportedly called the NFL a “mafia” and said “all owners hate each other.”

This last claim was denied by an owner preferring to remain anonymous, who replied: “That’s not true. All landlords hate Dan. »

Contacted by ESPN, a Commanders spokesperson denied that Snyder made the comments, calling them “simply ridiculous and totally untrue.”

Charges of sexual harassment and a hostile workplace hang over Snyder and the Commanders, to the point where other NFL owners want him gone.

According to ESPN, however, Snyder is determined to fight to retain his franchise.
