Moutet and Andreev already have punishment

tennis players Corentin Moutet and Adrian Andreevwho starred in a very tense scene at the end of their match at the Orleans Challenger (France), have been sanctioned by the ATP Disciplinary Commission. The economic punishment amounts to 10.000 euros for each one.

The episode took place last Thursday. Moutet and Andreev, the winner of the duel, began to argue heatedly during their greeting on the net. After the words, there were shoves and a physical contact that was increasing until the chair umpire was forced to intervene

Far from repenting, neither player has apologized for what happened. Moutet, in fact, spoke a few hours later to reaffirm himself. “I don’t want to apologize for what happened at the end of the match. When a player tells me ‘fuck you’ twice, looking me in the eye, I can’t help but make him understand in my own way that It is something that cannot happen”, settled for your part.

The French coach Laurent Raymond, has been the last to speak about it. “There was a confrontation in the network, but it did not go from there. The chair umpire separated them. They wanted to meet after the game, but there was no explanation or physical contact, they were not allowed to approach”, he valued in l’Équipe, just before knowing the sanction.
