Julien Brun follows him in 16th position and returned a card of 68 (-3) at the end of this first round. He made a total of five birdies and two bogeys for a 12th position on the leaderboard. Behind him, in 31st position, is Grégory Bourdy at -2 with a record of three birdies and an unfortunate bogey.
Marcus Armitage: a clear round and a new course record
Beyond the top 40, we find Julien Guerrier and Robin Roussel at -1 in 45th position. Joël Stalter is him, 85th with card 72 (+1) alongside Raphaël Jacquelin. Frédéric Lacroix accompanied by Benjamin Hebert and Romain Langasque are 108th with a heavy record of +4. Victor Dubuisson cracked at the end of his run and finished 111th at +5 over par. As a reminder, the French are aiming for a place in the final in Dubai on November 17.
The provisional leader of this first round is the Englishman Marcus Armitage at -8. The winner of the Porche European 2021 signed a clear round with a total of 8 birdies and set a new course record.
