Lion World – Maine-et-Loire (49)

The greatest eventing riders on the planet, the best young horses aged 6 and 7: this is the winning recipe for the Mondial du Lion. Each fall, this event attracts tens of thousands of spectators to the Lion-d’Angers.

The Mondial du Lion are two world championships for young eventing horse breeds: one for 6-year-olds and the other for 7-year-olds. While the 6-year-old class allows young talented horses to be discovered, the 7-year-old class arouses the greatest number of promises. The most gifted among them will be the stars of tomorrow.

Beyond the competition, the Mondial du Lion is also a very beautiful event, organized in a magnificent setting, the departmental park of Isle-Briand. The opportunity for a beautiful walk in the heart of an equestrian competition and a place of celebration bringing together thousands of visitors.
