Improving Archery Skills in Lurcy-Lévis with Expert Advice

Lurcy-Lévis. Archers in improvement. The archery section of the “Lurcy Sports Loisirs Animations” association benefited from the advice of Guy Lafaye and Jean-Luc Mercier, respectively president and member of the departmental archery committee.

This course allowed archers to adjust their bow.

The Lurcy-Lévis club is made up of 23 licensees. Some are preparing to compete in different disciplines ranging from field shooting, in Bourbon-l’Archambault and Villefranche-d’Allier, to 3D shooting on targets representing animals, in Bessay-sur-Allier.

Field shooting and 3D shooting are range disciplines practiced outdoors on uneven terrain (in the countryside or in the undergrowth). The difficulties of these disciplines lie in the evaluation of distances (5 m to 60 m) and very varied shooting situations.

It is still possible to register for archery without waiting for September. Since March 1, the French Archery Federation has opened its “Discovery” license at the special price of €22. It is only accessible to people who have never been made redundant before.

Practical. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Information from Alain Pernée, at 06.83.91.90.69 or LSLA, at 06.29.95.33.90.
